How do I work?

I meet your pet, off lead, relaxed and happy. I watch, sketch, photograph your pet and ask you to describe your pet.  In the studio your pet’s personality is conveyed in clean, flowing brush strokes on canvas. A wordscape about your pet is inscribed on the painting. The painting is framed and handed over to you

How Much Does it Cost?

I charge €450 for a portrait.  The preparation drawings may also be purchased.

The price includes four greeting cards of the painting

I work from Naas Co. Kildare.   For portraits outside a 20 km radius I charge a small additional amount to take account of the extra travel time involved plus petrol.

For 2nd and subsequent portraits, I offer a 10% discount.

 What if I cannot meet the pet?

I can sometimes work from photographs and video.   I will advise if this is possible having seen the material available.
